As many as 35 people died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours,
bringing Nepal's death toll from the extremely infectious infection to 3246.
On the same day, 4831
new cases were added to the national tally from around the country. Nepal's
outbreak count has risen to 317,530 as a result of this.
There are 1,714 females and 3,117 males among the newly infected.
In the meantime, antigen testing confirmed 97 positives in the
previous 24 hours. As a result, today's cumulative infections from both RT-PCR
and antigen experiments totaled 4,928. Kathmandu district has the most new infections (1127) of the total
cases that have surfaced in the last 24 hours. Lalitpur reported 252 new cases,
while Bhaktapur reported 182 new cases.
Similarly, according to the most recent statistics from the health
ministry, 888 people who were previously infected with the virus have recovered
in the last 24 hours. 280,167 people have
recovered from the novel coronavirus infection as of today. The disorder has a
survival rate of 88.2 percent.
Nepal's active Covid-19 case count currently stands at 34,117.
According to the health ministry, 13,560 total tests were
conducted in the last 24 hours, of which 12,597 were PCR tests while 963 were
antigen tests. With this, a total of 2,458,565 PCR tests have been carried out
in Nepal till date.
Currently, 59 people are being kept in quarantine facilities
around Nepal.
Nepal's coronavirus case count crossed 312,699 on Wednesday, with
4,774 new cases confirmed. About
150 million individuals worldwide have been affected by the novel coronavirus,
and 3.1 million have died as a result of the disease.
Similarly, over 127 million people have recovered, while over 19
million cases remain open.
